Enathi Rajappan Educational and charitable Trust was registered in the year 1997 under the Indian Trust act by the Philanthropist Shri. M. Marimuthu. Late Enathi Rajappa had strong vision to uplift the rural poor in this area. Based on his vision , Enathi Rajappa Arts and Science College was started in the year 1999-2000 with the following objective "To educate the student community to fit in with the society and to conquer the tomorrow's technology at global level with human values through a dedicated team. " This college Celebrated its Decennium in the year 2009. This young and vibrant institution continues to make rapid strides in the field of higher education, research and extension activities. The serene, unpolluted ambience of the campus provides a quiet and conducive atmosphere for higher education and research.


        Enathi Rajappa Arts and Science college is affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Trichirappalli. This is a self financing college approved by the Government of Tamilnadu vide G.O.No. 142 dated :07-04-1999. To promote the vision of the founder in the young minds of our students, the college has been rightly named as ENATHI RAJAPPAA ARTS AND SCIENCE COLLEGE. The college offers 12 UG, 4 PG and 1 M.Phil., Programmes in the view and emerging disciplines such as Computer Science, Biochemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Business administration , Commerce, Tamil and English Literature. To narrow down the gap between school education and college education, Bridge course is conducted to the freshers admitted in UG Programmes besides special coaching in mathematics for Non-mathematics students thanks to the efforts of the facilities of various departments.
